Safety Vests Save Lives

It’s cold out right now, even in the south.  We had a flat a few weeks ago on the interstate and I have to tell you, it was more than a bit scary.  My husband used the flashers on the car and when someone finally arrived to help us, they had their flashers and headlights on so we were a bit safer. 

But, safety vests would definitely have made me feel better about him being on the side of the road.  He changed the flat, the spare was flat and the person that came to help brought something to fix that flat.  And lo and behold, when we were ready to leave, the battery was dead.  I’m telling you, it was not pretty.
